(Summary)
John's experience in media started at the age of 21, when he set up an independent publishing company. He remained as the Managing Director of that company while it concurrently produced weekly, monthly and specialist publications. The company's success led to its acquisition by a public company ahead of John's move into the television industry. However, John but kept his interest in both writing and publishing and assisted other independent publishers and writers as they made their transition into TV.
To differentiate between his TV and writing interests, John currently writes under two pseudonyms, chosen according to the type of book or project he is developing and he also acts occasionally, as a ghost writer. To date, he has eight books that have been published in hard back form and two that are available as e-books.
John has also written the screenplay for a children's TV drama, for single season and multiple season Tv Drama Series, and for a full-length feature film. However, as the creator and writer of twelve TV Series, he accepted a unique challenge in 2024-25 to convert an autobiography into a compelling six-part TV drama.
